The Middle East has been selected to be the "Guest of Honor" for ICL2010. It is a region which is among the fastest growing economies of the world, with major focus on education and training. Saudi Arabia, for example, has recently announced that more than 25% of its 2010 budget will be allocated to education and training. This is a 13% increase in budget allocation compared to the last fiscal year. E-Learning and E-training is evolving rapidly in the Arab world to catch up with the rest of the world.

The Middle East Forum will focus on business opportunities in the Arab world in Academic e-learning, Corporate online training, and Government initiatives and opportunities. Leading experts and researchers are invited to participate in presenting success cases, best practices, innovative solutions, and current and future trends in e-learning environment in the Arab world.

The Forum is an excellent opportunity for researchers, corporations, and organisations involved in e-learning in the Middle East to collaborate and exchange experiences with potential international partners, academic researchers, and solution providers who are interested in establishing contacts and a cooperation with their counterparts from the Middle East.

The Forum will be held as part of ICL 2010, and it is organized by the University of Hasselt, Belgium in cooperation with E-L-M-E, Inc., Egypt.
